Yes here am I again with a TOM FORD product review. Spoiler: there’s more coming. I decided to get my hands on the gorgeous Golden Mink quad palette because I strongly believed I could use it on a daily basis….and boy was I right! For my everyday look I like warm brown colors with a bit of golden shimmer on my lids and the inner corner of my eyes. This palette summarized it all.
THE REVIEW: TOM FORD GOLDEN MINK EYESHADOW QUAD
The quad features four different shades with different finishes too: a sheer golden glitter, a satin/glitter copper, a shimmery ashy brown and a matte/shimmery dark brown. You can mix and match the shades to create a subtle or more elaborate look. The glittery shades are very subtle, hence more wearable. I didn’t experience any fall outs whatsoever. It’s safe to say that you should avoid this quad if you’re only into matte shades.
Like all other TOM FORD products, the packaging looks and feels very luxurious. The big mirror is amazing and the amount of product you get is massive. I’ve been using it for a few months now and I still haven’t hit pan yet.
TOM FORD’s typical pricing: very expensive (560DKK/82$). However I do think they are worth the splurge because this palette is very versatile and you are going to be reaching out for it again and again and again.
TOM FORD’s Golden Mink quad is perfect to have in your purse when you’re on the go and want to create a perfect subtle or dramatic smokey eye. You won’t have to worry about chalkiness, poorly pigmented shades, or fallouts with this one. The big mirror comes in very handy and the tiny brushes that come in the pack are surprisingly not that bad.
I must admit I’m still new in the eyeshadow palette game. I’ve only been using the NAKED 2 basic palette and single M.A.C eyeshadows. I’ve also recently purchased the gorgeous MODERN RENAISSANCE palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills which I use practically every single day. My curiosity and eagerness will lead me to discovering and reviewing more eyeshadow palettes so stay tuned!
